Six Hairstyles to do When You Haven't Washed Your Hair
We've all pressed snooze and woke up 3 minutes before you're due in work, in which case, the dry shampoo is in hand before you can say "Hi Sandra, I'm running late" and your back-combing your semi-greasy locks into something that looks passable as professional-human.
Here are six hairstyles to totally wing-it when you've not washed your hair...
1. Plait and braid the front, keep the fringe out your face so it can't get any greasier.
Minimal touching = minimal grease and shine.
2. Half up, half down knot.
Again, minimal touching of the hair around the face will make your hair look fresher and with this, you still get the benefit of showing off your length.
3. The messy low pony tail.
Add a few curls in there for good measure - the bedhead boho look will ALWAYS be in.
4. The sweeping side plait.
Fish tail or standard, you choose. Bundling your hair into a nice braid after a slight back-combing and dry-shampooing is an excellent way of disguising the fact that you've had 28 seconds to get ready.
5. Cover it up.
A hat! Of course a hat. But a nice one... No beanies: Fashion turbans, wide floppy hats and fedoras need only apply. Keep it classy when you're hiding your unwashed hair...
6. The deep side parting.
When in doubt, do as Miranda Kerr does and deep part your hair in the hour of unwashed hair.
So, you're welcome! Go forth and wing it...
