Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Girls

2 November 2012

I ain't no Holla Back Girl but I’ll definitely be following the crowds to the counter of The London Perfume Company’s checkout for these!

Gwen Stefani’s adorable perfumes came from the word ‘Harajuku’ which is a style and attitude of Japanese girls from Harajuku in Tokyo. Gwen returned from a trip there and was instantly inspired by the ‘anything goes, layered and eye-catching’ style.

We all know and love Gwen Stefani for her catchy music, amazing fashion and must-have style so it’s fantastic to finally own something related to it all. She says the blonde doll represents her and the others are a mixture of her backing dancers and girls she’s been inspired by in Tokyo.

She describes her fragrances as ‘a fatal attraction to cuteness’ and we can see that the Harajuku Lovers collection captures the lyrics and iconography of her music and albums.

The sweet little perfumes are so fruity and fresh, they are simply delicious. How perfect are they as little gifts?!... and what’s better, they’re ideal for girls of any age!

You should choose the Harajuku girl best suited to your personality, but, after meeting one – you’ll have to have them all!

So in the words of Miss Stefani – What are you waiting for? Find your perfect girl here.

(Oh and as a bit of fun, on her Harajuku site you can turn yourself into a Harajuku girl! So I did it to some of the TLPC office girls; Here's what we'd look like if we were perfumes!)
